Ex-combatants, Farmers
Group of ex-FARC combatants and farmers who chose rafting as a way of reconciliation and social reintegration.
OUR STORY
A group of locals and former combatants of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) guerrilla, traded rifles for paddles and became certified rafting athletes and guides. Together with their community, they created a sports club and a community tourism project, activities with which they promote historical memory, adventure tourism and nature conservation in the historic region of El Pato.
