Mujeres trabajando (2).jpeg

A project that shares the knowledge of elderly women through free, inclusive intergenerational workshops, accessible to everyone.

OUR STORY

The "Mujeres Trabajando" collective was founded in the 1980s by a group of women who sought to improve the lives of their community by introducing public services and improving streets, facades, stairs and lighting. From 2007 to 2012, the collective, together with all the residents of the upper part of Conia Gabriel Hernández, rescued a valid piece of land which was converted into multipurpose rooms, planters, bathrooms and a soccer field.

Today, this space is a cultural venue safeguarded by the collective which teaches artistic-cultural workshops in different disciplines.
